Regina is a compassionate and empathetic counsellor who is committed to supporting individuals through life's challenges. With a background in customer relations and marketing, she has developed a deep understanding of the pressures faced by people from diverse walks of life, especially within the context of both personal and professional environments.
In her previous role as a Customer Relations Executive in an international school, Regina had the opportunity to interact with a wide range of clients, including parents, teachers, and students aged 4 to 18. She was also an art teacher in an art studio and taught students aged 3 to 12. This experience, combined with her work with both expatriate and local communities, has helped her cultivate a strong sense of empathy and a keen awareness of the struggles that individuals and families may face in today’s fast-paced, multicultural world.
Before making a career switch to counselling, Regina spent six years working in marketing across various brands and industries. This experience gave her valuable insight into the challenges of corporate life, including work-related stress, career transitions, and burnout. It has also equipped her with the tools to help clients effectively navigate these pressures while finding balance in their personal and professional lives.
Regina works with children, adolescents, and adults, drawing on a diverse range of therapeutic approaches to tailor her work to each client's needs. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centred Therapy.
Whether you are seeking support for personal struggles, work-related challenges, or life transitions, Regina is dedicated to helping you find clarity, build coping skills, and achieve your goals with compassion and care.
Regina is currently completing her practicum placement at Holding Ground (Psychology Practice) as part of the requirement for completing a Masters of Counselling programme. She is available on Tuesday and Thursday. Her practice is closely supervised by Ms Yammie Chin, Co-Founder and Principal Clinical Psychologist from Holding Ground (Psychology Practice) to ensure quality client care.
