Bernice provides reduced-fee therapy as part of her clinical training.

Bernice practices an integrative approach to counselling, grounded in Person-Centred Therapy (PCT). She is deeply compassionate and passionate about helping individuals and families find new meaning and hope in their journeys. Bernice believes in the innate potential within every individual to grow, heal, and thrive.​

 

As a mother of one, Bernice’s life has been profoundly transformed by her parenting journey, shaping her empathetic and authentic approach to working with clients. She understands the challenges families face and seeks to create a safe, supportive space for growth and connection.

Bernice facilitates workshops and programs for school-going children, from primary to secondary levels, focusing on essential well-being skills such as cultivating a growth mindset and building resilience. She also works with parents, guiding them in fostering self-compassion and creating nurturing environments for their children.

​

Beyond her professional endeavours, Bernice finds joy in creating core memories with her loved ones and indulging her passion for travel. These experiences not only enrich her personal life but also enhance her ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds, bringing a broader perspective to her counselling practice.

 

Bernice’s mission is to impact lives, one meaningful conversation at a time. She believes authenticity is the foundation of transformation and approaches every interaction with warmth, empathy, and a genuine desire to support others. Through her integrative practice, Bernice strives to empower individuals and families to build resilient, fulfilling lives.

 

Bernice is currently completing her practicum placement at Holding Ground (Psychology Practice) as part of the requirements for her Postgraduate Counselling Psychology program. Her practice is closely supervised by Ms Yammie Chin, Co-Founder and Principal Clinical Psychologist from Holding Ground (Psychology Practice) and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (SRP) to ensure quality client care.​
