Elisabeth brings a calm, compassionate presence to her work, focusing on relationships built on trust, safety, and mutual respect.
With 15 years of experience in early childhood and elementary education across the United States, Vietnam, Thailand, and now
Singapore, Elisabeth brings a rich understanding of human development and a thoughtful, culturally responsive lens to her counselling practice. Her background has shaped a relationship-based approach grounded in the belief that trust and connection are essential to healing. Elisabeth values creativity in the therapeutic process and is responsive to each client’s needs, drawing on reflective and expressive techniques to support emotional exploration and self-understanding.
Elisabeth takes an integrative approach to therapy, rooted in person-centred and humanistic values. Her work is informed by Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Narrative Therapy and incorporates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Each client’s experience guides the collaborative process, with an emphasis on emotional resilience, clarity, and lasting change.
As a parent of two teenagers, Elisabeth understands the nuances of family life and caregiving. She has a particular interest in supporting parents through relational challenges, bringing honesty and warmth to what can often be an emotionally complex
time. Elisabeth values deep listening, attunement, and the ability to offer thoughtful insight, especially in her work with children and families. She is also drawn to supporting individuals who may feel unseen in traditional spaces and is committed to creating an inclusive environment where identity and lived experience are genuinely honoured.
Elisabeth welcomes clients of all ages and life stages who are navigating transitions, exploring identity, managing parenting challenges, or working through past and present difficulties. She offers a space where clients feel heard, supported, and understood.
Outside of her counselling work, Elisabeth finds joy in travel, time in nature, exploring art, listening to music, and being with her family.
Elisabeth is currently completing her practicum placement at Holding Ground (Psychology Practice) as part of the requirement for completing a Masters of Counselling programme. Her practice is closely supervised by Ms Yammie Chin, Co-Founder and Principal Clinical Psychologist from Holding Ground (Psychology Practice) to ensure quality client care.
Elisabeth is available for both in person and online counselling on Wednesday and Thursday evenings (5pm to 8pm) and Saturday afternoons (12pm to 5pm).
